| NEW IG WOMEN'S COACHING DEVELOPMENT OFFICER ANNOUNCED! |

Irish Gymnastics - in partnership with the Irish Sports Council's Women in Sport Initiative is proud to announce our new Women’s Coaching Development Officer is Aoife Healy. Aoife has a degree in Coaching Science & Performance from the University of Limerick. Aoife participated in gymnastics for a number of years. She also has a background in Basketball playing for both college and university teams and also has coaching experience in areas such as weight training, circuits & conditioning. The panel that selected Aoife for the post consisted of representatives from the IG Board of Management plus Marie Ahern of the Irish Sports Council & Hayley Harrison of the NCTC - we look forward to working with Aoife on the development of the Women's Artistic & Rhythmic disciplines. IG will also shortly be advertising for our second Coaching Development Officer - keep watching for more details...
