To all Coaches, Clubs & members of National Squad,
The purpose of the note is to provide coaches and clubs with dates and
details which have only just been finalised. Further detailed
information will circulate in relation to items 1 and 2 below in due
course.
2006 ATT Cup Finals
As many of you will be aware there was serious difficulty in securing a
venue for this year's ATT Cup Finals. I am pleased to now confirm that
the finals will be held in Carlow on Saturday 9th December. Please note
this is a change of date to the circulated IG calendar.
IG is grateful to Anne Rennick and Carlow Gymnastics Club for again
agreeing to host this prestigious event. However, we will have to review
the process of securing a venue and competition hosts as a matter of
urgency so as to prevent a reoccurrence in the delays experienced this
year. This matter will be addressed jointly by the Acrobatics and
Tumbling Technical committees.
A joint meeting of the Acrobatics and Tumbling Technical Committees will
be held on the evening of Sat 4th November (following the Acrobatics
Squad trial) to arrange the ATT Cup. Regional/club Reps are requested to
be available. Further information on time/location will issue to those
involved.
