In partnership with the University of Ulster and supported by the Irish Sports Council and Coaching Ireland, Gymnastics Ireland is proud to present the GymEDGE Sports Coach Development Programme.

The programme involves a series of workshops, using core fundamental gymnastics skills and training techniques to assist coaches to build the "complete athlete or player", giving athletes the "the edge".

The GymEDGE programme is a continuous professional development tool for any coach, from any sport, with any ability, who is interested in making their athletes or players better at their own sports by giving them the edge.

It is internationally recognised that Gymnastics as a sport provides key skill sets that can assist other sports develop the complete athlete or player.

GymEDGE has the potential to make a real impact in the on-going development of coaches from all sports across Ireland while simultaneously increasing the awareness and understanding of gymnastics as a sport.

The programme includes 3 individual workshops:
