Kieran Behan captures the heart of Ireland and beyond

What a month it has been for 22-year-old Artistic male gymnast Kieran Behan.

Not only did he qualify for Ireland at the 2012 London Olympic games, but he landed 4th place in Floor final at the London Prepares Test Event (the final Olympic qualification), he has received funding from the Olympic Council of Ireland and has gained access to the Irish Sports Council’s High Performance funding programme, not to mention capturing the attention of Ireland’s media and beyond.

The inspirational 22-year-old captured Ireland’s heart with his journey to gaining Olympic qualifications. He featured on Ireland’s The Late Late show, has been interviewed on nearly every radio station across the country and landed  front page of The Irish Times.
