AccessNI
AccessNI is a Criminal History Disclosure Service.
On-line applications
From the 1st of April 2015 applicants who are required to undergo an AccessNI check will be able to apply on-line and registered/umbrella body signatories can countersign applications on-line, using the Government’s NIDirect web-site.
To commence the on-line application process, please click here for AccessNI on-line instructions and ID Validation form (N.B. these instructions include the important Northern Ireland Sports Forum (NISF) PIN number).
No online applications can be processed by Gymnastics Ireland unless the ID validation form and, if required, payment have been received Gymnastics Ireland (volunteers free check except £10 (stg) administration fee payable to Gymnastics Ireland, paid staff £33 + £10 (stg) administration fee payable to Gymnastics Ireland).
The on-line system is now the preferred method of submitting AccessNI applications but paper applications may be submitted (see Document B below).
We are encouraging everyone to use the online application process and paper applications will not be processed as quickly as the online applications – and this may hold up your ability to take up your position.
Gymnastics Ireland submits all AcessNI Disclosure Certificate Applications through the Northern Ireland Sports Forum for onwards processing by AccessNI (as an Umbrella Body the Northern Ireland Sports Forum is an approved organisation which submits criminal history checks to AccessNI on behalf of other non-registered organisations).
