Longford Gymnastics - seeking an experienced Coach for the position of Head Coach

Longford Gymnastics Club is seeking to appoint an experienced Coach for the position of Head Coach, min level WAG 2 qualification (GI or BG). It is an essential requirement that candidates can provide experience of at least 2 years experience as a Head or Lead Coach.

The candidate would be required to lead and deliver our competitive and recreational programs and develop a pathway program for developing gymnasts, whilst leading and mentoring a progressive and motivated team of WAG qualified and trainee coaches.

Longford Gymnastics Club is a young club, established in March 2020 with over 500 members of boys and girls. We are a full time club, operating six days per week at present. While we are a young club, our gymnasts have progressed quickly and to a level where an experienced Head Coach is required so they can progress to fulfil their potential. Our club has competed in both Gymstart and National Series competitions with Gymnastics Ireland and this has been a very positive experience for our club and gymnasts and we look forward to future competitions.

The candidate should be experienced in planning, schedules, coach mentoring and working closely with a team of existing coaches, whilst also being enthusiastic, reliable, have a love of gymnastics and working with children of all ages.

Qualifications: Minimum - recognised Gymnastics Ireland or British Gymnastics WAG 2 qualification required.

Hours and Salary are negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
