RGC Are Hiring a Level 1 Coach!

RGC is a large not-for-profit gymnastics club located in Ballybrit, Galway, providing competitive and participation gymnastics training to children and adults. Their mission is “to coach our members toward their full potential in a safe, fun and progressive gymnastics environment.”

They look forward to welcoming an enthusiastic Participation Based Coach to our team. They are a very busy club all year round and this role is ideal for a resourceful and experienced gymnastics coach, with a proven coaching background who takes pride in their work, likes to lead by example and who has a proven interest in continued improvement of training standards and sustainability.

Salary:Based on qualifications and experience.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Have completed at a minimum, GymStart Level 1 or discipline specific level 1 coaching award from a recognised awarding body.

2. Have a proven record of supervised gymnastics coaching to a satisfactory standard (minimum of 1 year).

Desirable Qualification (not required)

1. Current first aid qualification.

Terms and Conditions:

The appointment is a part time position working Friday - Sunday in our Participation Programmes. Week day cover hours will also be available but not guaranteed. Friday hours will be from 3pm, Saturdays from 9am and Sundays from 10am.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain Garda / Access NI vetting clearance in advance of taking up the position.

RGC is offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, including occasional expenses such as travel, overnight accommodation and other allowable expenditure in accordance with RGC’s needs.

RGC is offering an annual leave entitlement of 20 days per annum. RGC operates mandatory leave periods which normally includes periods Christmas and during the Galway Races in line with RGC’s annual operational plan
