Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
As part of Gymnastics Ireland's commitment and action plan that will guide us in continuing to ensure a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive gymnastics community for all we have developed the following Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Policy Statement and Strategy 2024-2028.
The DEIB Strategy represents our approach to addressing DEIB and Equality of Opportunities (EOO) in Gymnastics Ireland. It forms part of our 'Culture and Governance' objective in our organisations Strategic Plan which aims to promote a positive 'people focussed' culture and operate to the highest standards of corporate governance by:
- Engaging and listening to diverse voices
- Investing in learning and education
- Inclusive leadership and governance
- Developing and delivering inclusive programmes and services

In addition to the DEIB Policy Statement & Strategy we have also developed our 'A Place for All' Inclusive Community Charter which clearly communicates what members can expect from Gymnastics Ireland and what Gymnastics Ireland expects from our members.
