Gymnastics Ireland is looking for a Digital Communications Events Contractor - Expression of interest
05th February, 2025 |Gymnastics Ireland is the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in Ireland.
Gymnastics Ireland is seeking a creative & savvy individual as freelance/3rd party digital communications contractor to support our national events programme. The programme consists of 10-12 events per year (mostly weekends) and is largely based at the Sport Ireland Campus in Dublin.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, now one of the largest participation sports in Ireland and having come off the back of Ireland’s historic first ever Olympic gold medal in gymnastics at the Paris 2024 Games.
What we are looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Arts or a related field.
- A creative mindset with a strong eye for design and detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of Canva.
- Desirable but not essential understanding of website content management systems.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in digital communications, social media management or related roles.
- Experience working in the sports club, wider sports sector or with associated sports brands.
