2017 Competition Calendar launches with new National Series Championships Event

Gymnastics Ireland are happy to be able to inform our members of the launch of our 2017 competitive events calendar, these events will take place in our new home at the National Indoor Arena in Dublin. We are also announcing today the launch of a new flagship competition - the National Series Championships which will be held from 30th June – 2nd July. The top gymnasts in each discipline at each level will qualify through from each separate discipline national championships to compete in what has been designed to be a real showcase of our top gymnasts from development through to FIG international performance levels. Please view the information flowchart which summarises the qualification process.

The Gymnastics Ireland price structure for the 2017 competitive events calendar is as follows: 

· €45 for novice competitions & any disciplines who have qualifiers for their respective National Championships (with the exception of Rhythmic National Championships Novice 1 & 2 in November as it is a national event)

· €65 for all national competitions including National Championships

·  €85 for National Series Championships

·  €250 for Team Competitions

Full/updated NDP documents and competition guidelines will be issued in early January 2017.

Finally we are very excited about welcoming you to the National Indoor Arena in 2017. This €30 million facility has been designed in partnership with Gymnastics Ireland to cater for all our training and event needs as an anchor sport. It is a truly world class facility.
