Acrobatics, Trampoline, Tumbling & Double Mini Trampoline National Championships - Wrap Up

7th & 28th May 2017; National Indoor Arena, Dublin: It was the fifth National Series competition weekend held in the National Indoor Arena with 700 gymnasts competing in front of over 1500 spectators for the Acrobatics, Trampoline, Tumbling & Double Mini Trampoline National Championships.
During the weekend the top gymnasts qualified through to the National Series Super championships. This event will see the best of the best from all ages and all disciplines compete at the flagship competitive gymnastics event of the year.

The FIG National results for this weekend were as follows…
-Highest DMT Score was Niamh Hutchinson, who also got Trampoline Highest Female FIG Score

Attention now shifts to our participation event “The Floor” on 11th June, an annual performance to show everyone just how skilful, fun, entertaining & exciting our sport is. For this event Gymnastics Ireland brought the X-Factor to 'The Floor ' with increased investment in stage lighting, video recording, social media walls, sound production, live streaming and a fantastic MC, Shay Byrne from RTE.
