2018 Worlds – Smith completes Women’s Artistic qualifications

26th Oct 2018: Team Ireland gymnast Meaghan Smith finished today’s qualifiers at the Women’s Artistic World Championships in Doha with an All-Around score of 46.866. Smith’s highest score was 12.700 on Vault. This concludes competition for Team Ireland at the 2018 World Championships.

Commenting on this afternoon’s event CEO of Gymnastics Ireland, Mr. Ciaran Gallagher said:

‘Meaghan wrapped up our teams efforts at the 2018 World Championships and aside from beam had a really solid performance at her first World Championships. Huge congratulations to Meaghan, coach Luke Carson, our Judge Mairead Kavanagh and Performance & Technical Manager Sally Johnson’
