7th April 2019: A busy weekend for Gymnastics Ireland as various teams conclude international competitions in four disciplines. 37 Artistic and Acrobatic gymnasts competed at the inaugural Home Nations Tournament in Perth, Scotland with impressive medal haul while the Rhythmic team of 4 gymnasts concluded their Irina Cup tournament in Warsaw, Poland.

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics

  • GOLD - Eamon Montgomery on Floor
  • SILVER - Eamon Montgomery in All-Aroun

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics

  • GOLD - Blathnaid Higgins on Vault
  • BRONZE - Blathnaid Higgins on Floo
  • BRONZE - Blathnaid Higgins in All-Around
  • BRONZE - Emily Moorhead on BEAM
  • BRONZE - Women’s Artistic team

Acrobatic Gymnastics

  • GOLD - Sergei Sandu, Kyal Reid, Sean Auden, Rian Bailey, MG FIG 12-18
  • BRONZE - Emma Collins, Emily McGrath WP FIG 11-16
  • BRONZE - Ellen O’Brien, Izzy Kavanagh, Lilly Parle WG YOUTH
  • BRONZE - Shona Travers, Seoighe English, Aine Doyle WG FIG 11-16
  • BRONZE - Brianna Sheehan, Heather White, WP FIG 12-1
  • BRONZE - Acrobatic gymnastics team competition
