Commenting on the event Gymnastics Ireland CEO Ciaran Gallagher said:
“The 2019 National Series Team Championships was by far the largest event we have ever held with approx 2000 gymnasts competing across 5 competitive disciplines making this one of the largest gymnastics competitions in the world. It was a mammoth task in terms of the planning & preparation through to the execution of the event and I am incredibly proud of our entire events team and GI staff team for working together to deliver the event to a successful conclusion. Finally my congratulations to the clubs and members who participated - it was great to see so many young gymnasts compete, because of the hard work being done at club level through to national our sport has an exciting future ahead.”
Attention now shifts to the upcoming GymSTART Challenge participation events which Gymnastics Ireland will be hosting on Sunday 24th November here in the National Indoor Arena and on Sunday 1st December at the UL Sports Arena in Limerick City.
