Tokyo 2020 Olympics - How to Watch...

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games kick off tomorrow with gymnastics taking the spotlight during this first weekend of 24th and 25th July. Gymnastics Ireland's Rhys McClenaghan and Meg Ryan will compete as part of Team Ireland in the Artistic Gymnastics qualifiers which begin on Saturday at 2am (Irish time) for Men's and Sunday at 3.45am (Irish time) for Womens. Both McClenaghan and Ryan had a successful podium training sessions and are now looking forward to competing. From all at Gymnastics Ireland - GOOD LUCK!

Full Olympic coverage will be available via RTE Sport across TV, radio and online. RTÉ2 will be the home of the Olympics however full content will also be available on RTÉ Player https://www.rte.ie/player/

RTÉ will also show the qualifiers on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th on their 'Recap programme' from 9.30am - 10.30am and their 'Highlights programme' from 7pm - 8pm Irish time.

Qualifications

  • Men’s Artistic - Saturday 24th July starting at 2am to 2pm (Irish Time)
    • Look out for Rhys competing in Subdivision 1 starting @ 2am
  • Women’s Artistic – Sunday 25th July starting at 2am to 2pm (Irish Time)
    • Look out for Meg competing in Subdivision 2 starting @ 3.45am
