Bronze on Floor for Montgomery at the 2023 Cairo World Cup!

Saturday 29th April, Cairo, Egypt; Irish gymnast Eamon Montgomery has won the bronze medal on floor after scoring 14.066 at the 2023 Artistic Apparatus World Cup final today!
Talking about his experience Eamon Montgomery said: “I was happy enough with the routine today (...) I can do better, I didn't have as many sticks as I should but I'll get there in time. I'll get some rest now and I'll get back in a few weeks...”
Montgomery’s coach Conor McGovern added: “Very proud of how Eamon represented his country today, he is showing that he is amongst the top floor workers in the world and he has a great ability to compete and that is a testament to the hard work he consistently is putting in with his coaches.”
Gymnastics Ireland Performance and Technical Manager, Sally Johnson said: “Fantastic news for Eamon to finish of the World Cup circuit with a Bronze Medal! Congratulations to all!”
Gymnastics Ireland CEO Ciaran Gallagher added: “Super performance from Eamon and an excellent build on his consistent final positions that he has hit in the previous World Cups this year!
