Women’s team finish competition at 2023 European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics

Wednesday 12th April, Antalya, Turkey; Ireland’s Women's team consisting of Halle Hilton, Emma Slevin, Jane Heffernan & Kate Molloy competed at the All Around Competition today with Emma Slevin (48.866) finishing in 31st position, Halle Hilton (46.366) in 54th, Kate Molloy (44.766) in 64th and Jane Heffernan (44.322) in 69th position.

Gymnastics Ireland National Women's Coach Sandra Stevenson said:

"It’s was really pleasing to see a great team spirit by all our gymnasts today. We had a few uncharacteristic mistakes out there that I’m sure we can build on but overall some very promising performances with our two top gymnasts Emma and Halle placing well and in contention for qualification for the upcoming world championships."

Focus now shifts to Rhys McClenaghan who will compete in the finals of the Pommel Horse competition due to take place on Saturday 15th April between 12.10 – 13.10 Irish time. This will be aired on RTE News Channel & RTE Player.
