11.06.23 Rzeszow, Poland; Irish gymnasts Kyal Reid and Aoibhinn Condell finished competing at the FIG Acrobatics World Cup in Rzeszow, Poland, where they ranked 6th place in the mixed pair finals today at the senior event. This is the team's second time making finals in the World Cup series this year.

Talking about their experience, Irish gymnast Kyal Reid said: "I’m really proud of our performances this weekend. We felt a bit of pressure after doing well on our last World Cup and really wanted to make it to finals again. We held our nerve in the prelims to qualify and we gave it our all in the finals to finish 6th again. We are really happy."

Irish gymnast Aoibhinn Condell added: "I have really enjoyed this competition. It’s great to be out on the World Cup circuit and while it’s nerve wracking competing it’s an amazing experience. We are really proud of our perfomances and are building our experience with each event."

Gymnastics Ireland National Acrobatics Coach Victoria Pattison said: "For me this result is another step in the right direction for Acrobatics in Ireland. I am so proud of Kyal and Aoibhin for their first year competing at senior, and comfortably managing finals at the most recent 2 world Cups. I was delighted yesterday to have them make the final but for them to move up another place today is even better."
