Group and Pair Qualify to Finals at European Acrobatic Gymnastics Age Group Championships 2025

Culturel D’coque, Luxembourg; Team Ireland’s Natalia Adamowicz, Keelin Swinburn & Maisie Murphy and Sara Adamowicz & Kate O’Leary qualified to Finals on Sunday at European Acrobatic Gymnastics Age Group Competition in Culturel D'coque, Luxembourg.

The women's pair qualified 7th place and finished 6th place with a score of 26.200. The women's group (trio) qualified 9th place and finished in 10th place. 

Commenting on their performance, Coach Jilly said:

"I am absolutely thrilled for both partnerships. It has been two years of working consistently with these partnerships for this Europeans as our ultimate goal. From our very first training session in Luxembourg the girls were focused and determined. The competition was very tough, but we knew the girls had the potential to make finals. It is a great achievement for the gymnasts and Ireland as a country to have 2 finalists. Their hard work has really paid off. As quoted by the announcer of the competition 'it is spectacular to see Ireland working their way back up the ladder again to see two partnerships in a final' We are so proud of them!"

Victoria, Head of Acrobatics said:

"I am thrilled with the gymnasts performances today. It was already a huge achievement for the girls to make it to the final against such strong competition, but to then go on and perform such great routines is just phenomenal. They have worked so hard to achieve this and I see it as a huge success for the girls, their coaches and Gymnastics Ireland!"

Victoria also commenting on the weekend as a whole:

"Overall, team Ireland have had a great competition. Our partnerships showed solid, beautiful routines. The standard is high in all categories and we have done a great job on our rankings. Well done to all of our partnerships, great work."

Our focus now shifts to our senior pair Aaron Byrne & TJ Fenlon who will compete at the European Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships 2025 in Luxembourg this weekend.
