Irish Gymnasts conclude 2024 Cottbus World Cup

Cottbus, Germany; Team Ireland gymnasts Eamon Montgomery, Dom Cunningham, Ewan McAteer, Emma Slevin, Halle Hilton, Bláthnaid Higgins, and Lily Russell concluded competition at the 2024 Cottbus World Cup this weekend in Cottbus, Germany.
On day one of the Men’s qualifiers Cunningham placed 19th on floor with a score of 13.833, while Montgomery placed 31st. Cunningham also competed on vault day two of qualifications, placing 20th with a score of 14.033, while teammate McAteer placed 49th on same apparatus.
During the first day of women’s qualifications, Higgins placed 11th on vault with an average score of 12.833. Whilst Hilton placed 25th on the same apparatus.
Day two of qualifications saw Slevin and Hilton competing on floor! Hilton placed 15th with a score of 12.533 and Slevin placing 21st respectively.
Russell and Slevin competed in balance beam where Russell placed 17th with a 12.633 while teammate Slevin placed 21st.
