JumpSTART April 2026 - Wrap Up

26^th April 2026; This weekend saw the return of the JumpSTART Competition for 2026 taking place in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin. The competition saw 400 gymnasts competing from 20 clubs across four disciplines, in front of over 1100 spectators.

JumpSTART is a discipline-focused events programme that provides recreational members with the opportunity to compete in more than one discipline, whereby club recreational level gymnasts can try one or all of the disciplines as an individual gymnast, as part of a discipline team and part of an overall club team.

JumpSTART acts as the bridge between our GymSTART and the National Series events programmes, whereby club recreational level gymnasts can compete in one, some and/or all of the disciplines as an individual gymnast, as part of a discipline team and part of an overall club team. JumpSTART also provides a key pathway into the National Series discipline specific events & promote the growth/development in our various gymnastics disciplines.

Attention now shifts to the National Series event taking place on the 16th and 17th of May, which will feature all six disciplines all taking place under one roof in the Sports Ireland National Indoor Arena.
