McClenaghan wins Bronze at Doha World Cup 2024

Doha, Qatar; Rhys McClenaghan competed in the Pommel Horse Finals today securing a bronze medal with a score of 15.233 at the Artistic Gymnastics Doha World Cup 2024

Coach, Luke Carson commenting on the performance in the final:

“Happy to have performed another World Class Routine against the World’s best gymnasts. Very proud to bring back yet another International medal to Ireland”

Also commenting on the win, Gymnastics Ireland Performance & Technical Manager Sally Johnson said:

“Great result from Rhys in such an extremely high standard event, excellent preparation and build up by Luke and Rhys ahead of Europeans commendable performance.”
