Top 15 finish for Mulholland and Cox at 2025 Trampoline World Age Group

Team Ireland’s Synchro Women's pair Fionnuala Mulholland and Laoise Cox finish top 15 at 2025 Trampoline World Age Group Competitions in Pamplona, Spain.

Irish Trampoline Gymnasts delivered great performances both in the individual and synchro events - most notably the Women's Pair synchro routine missed the World final by only 0.800 points!

Top 20 finish in the Individual 17-21 category for Mulholland, who competed in the individual event on Thursday scoring 94.020. Teammate Cox made an uncharacteristic mistake in her first routine, but reset well to deliver a solid voluntary routine. The two went on to compete in the synchro event on Saturday where they scored 43.190 finishing in 14th narrowly missing out on the final. 

Fionnuala on her performances said "I am very proud to have gone out and represented Ireland on the world stage. Although I did not compete my best in individual or synchro, I am very grateful for the experience I have had here in Spain. Top 20 in the world is still a massive achievement which I am very proud of. I am very excited to get back in the gym and work upgrades for the next competition season."

Laoise on her performances said "It was great to represent Ireland at world level again, but it wasn't the competition I had hoped for. I'm motivated to get back into gym and get back to training to prepare for next year's competitions."

Coach Amanda Morrison said "I feel so proud of the girls and their performances this week, both in training and in competition. We have learned lots and are excited to see what the future holds."

Head of Trampoline Colm Galligan said "We’re really proud of how our gymnasts performed at the WAGCs in Pamplona. The results in individual and synchro competitions are a credit to their hard work and teamwork.”
