Senior and Junior MAG Place Top 3 and Achieve Event Finals at Luxembourg Open 2025

Omnisport Belair, Luxembourg; Team Ireland's Junior and Senior Men's teams place top 3 while making event finals.

The junior boys finished in 2nd place with a score of 211.150 led by Finlay Hazelton who placed 3rd with a score of 70.050. Tobias Hazelton finished just behind in 7th with a score of 67.400. Robert Ward & Matthew Hickey finish 9th and 10th while teammate Chester Enriquez finished in 18th. Finlay made pommel, vault, parallel bars, and high bar finals. Tobias made floor and parallel bar final. Ward made vault final and is 2nd reserve on the rings. Hickey made two finals in the pommel and high bar. 

The Senior men finished in 3rd place with a score of 221.700 led by James Hickey who placed 7th in the All-Around with a score of 73.150. Teammate Oisin O'Connel finishes in 9th place just behind Hickey. Niall Hooton finished 10th, while Michael Carson finished in 12th and Adam Steele in 15th. Hooton makes floor, still rings, and parallel bars final. Hickey qualified in 1st to the pommel final while also making parallel bar final. O'Connel makes high bar final. Steele makes pommel, rings, and high bar finals, while teammate Carson makes floor final. 

An amazing performance by the MAG team at today's Luxembourg Open. Each athlete in both juniors and seniors will represent Ireland in an apparatus final tomorrow. Catch all the action tomorrow starting 12pm Irish Time. The juniors will start finals at 12pm while the seniors begin at 3:30pm Irish Time.

"Fantastic results today with all members of our Junior & Senior teams making individual finals along with Team Silver for the Juniors, a Team Bronze for the Seniors and an All Around 3rd place for Finlay Hazelton.
