Senior and Junior MAG qualify to finals and Ward wins Bronze on Vault at Luxembourg Open 2026

Omnisport Belair, Luxembourg; Team Ireland's Junior and Senior Men's qualified to event finals. 

Robert Ward qualified to the vault final in 2nd with a score of 13.600. Ward finished in third place scoring an average of 12.800 on both vaults.  

The junior boys finished in 5th place with a score of 210.984 led by Robert Ward who placed 11th with a score of 70.367. Teammate Finlay Hazelton finished just behind in 16th with a score of 68.533. Matthew Hickey and and Evan Kinsella finished 20th and 26th while teammate Jack only competed in 4 events. Hazelton and Kinsella made high bar final tying for 6th place with an 11.100. Hickey made pommel final and finished in 6th with a 12.850.

The Senior men finished in 6th place with a score of 216.333 led by Adam Steele who placed 4th in the All-Around with a score of 76.000. Teammate Michael O'Neill finishes in 13th place behind Steele with a 71.483 and Max Pytel finished in 18th at his first senior international with a 68.850. Steele qualified in the parallel bars final where he finished 7th with an 11.400. Teammate O'Neill made floor final where he qualified in 2nd with a score of 13.733 and finished in 6th with a 12.350 with an unfortunate fall. Pytel was reserve on floor.
