We have a variety of resources available to our clubs to help them on their GymABLE journey.

Below you will find some useful information about funding, getting started and a case study of our of our clubs.

We work close with Activate Disability Ireland who also have really useful and resources which are all available here.

The GymABLE award scheme has been designed along similar lines to the well established GymSTART award scheme, with the focus on creating a fun and progressive reward-based programme designed to support both gymnasts and coaches.

These awards are a form of physio-fun that encourage children with a physical disability to explore the world of gymnastics, provide opportunities to complete physical challenges, gain core strength and increased mobility while earning awards and celebrating personal achievement.
Clubs are encourage to use these awards in whatever way suits the club and the gymnasts they are working with.

The GymABLE Club Inclusion Project was developed by Gymnastics Ireland in 2017 with the support of the Sport Ireland Dormant Accounts Funds (DAF).

At its core, the aim of the GymABLE Club Project is to work with our clubs, motivating and supporting them to develop, deliver and integrate quality disability gymnastics programmes into their club environment.
