Any club wishing to take part in FIG and/ EG International events must take part in The Floor, Gymnastics Ireland’s National Display event, in the year of the International event.
Clubs should also ensure they read the GfA International Event Participation Policy and GfA International Travel Policy, and contact Gymnastics Ireland for more information

European Gym for Life Challenge
The European Gym for Life Challenge (EGfLC) is organised by European Gymnastics (EG) and is held every two years the days before EuroGym. The Challenge provides a platform for groups of 6 or more gymnasts aged 12 years and older, to perform and receive constructive feedback from an international panel of experts. Performances are evaluated on entertainment value and overall impression, innovation and originality, technique, quality and safety as well as variety and diversity. Each group is then awarded either a bronze, silver or gold award based on the evaluation.

EuroGym
EuroGym is a large-scale, non-competitive gymnastics festival for young people aged 12–18, organised every two years to bring European gymnasts together to share their passion for gymnastics in a social and cultural environment. The event includes team display performances, diverse workshops, parties, and a closing ceremony, focusing on building friendship and cultural exchange rather than competition.
EUROGYM and EGFL will be held in Pistoia, Italy in 2026. For more information, visit the official website.

World Gymnaestrada 2027
World Gymnaestrada is a large, non-competitive gymnastics festival held every four years that brings together thousands of participants from around the world to celebrate movement and creativity. Organized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), it is an inclusive event that welcomes people of all ages, genders, and abilities to perform in group routines and share their culture. The focus is on the joy of participation and social connection, not on winning medals.

World Gym For Life Challenge 2029
The World Gym for Life Challenge is an international contest which is held every 4 years for gymnastics groups of all ages and abilities. It is a "Gymnastics for All" event that celebrates creativity and originality through group performances, which can be up to five minutes long and incorporate music and apparatus. The FIG-GfA Committee will invite experts to evaluate performances and create a ranking list. This ranking list determines Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. Gold is given to the top-scoring groups; Silver and Bronze are shared among the rest. Gold-awarded groups will perform at the World Gym for Life Gala and compete for the Bruno Grandi trophy.
The 6th World Gym for Life Challenge will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from July 4 to 8, 2029. For more information, click here..
