The National Performance Coach and Performance and Technical Manager may select or invite gymnasts to trial/test onto National Squads based on the National Results or a performance which may be considered from another competition.

Physiotherapy Appointment for Tier 3&4 National Squad Members

All gymnasts on National Squad Tier level 3&4 can book in advance a physiotherapy appointment with Gymnastics Ireland Tier 3&4 Physiotherapist Elizabeth Melvin at the beginning of National Squads or at our mid-week clinic in the NGTC that will be running every 2^nd week - please see appointment link for upcoming availibility.

1. National Squads

1. 1. Elizabeth will be present at day 1 of your National squad only to;
      1. Conduct 5 x 30min booked in advance physiotherapy appointments for any gymnast(s) on our Tier 3 & 4 National Squad that have any injury concerns/ physical capacity limitations that will inhibit the gymnast's ability to complete all aspects of the National Squad programme throughout the duration of the squad.
         1. All appointments will be booked in advance and will be charged at €20 per appointment billed directly to the club the gymnast represents.
         2. Appointments will be scheduled from the initiation of your squad, set at 30min intervals i.e.
            1. 10:00 - 10:30
            2. 10:30 - 11:00
            3. 11:00 - 11:30
            4. 11:30 - 12:00
            5. 12:00 - 12:30
      2. All information collected in relation to the appointment will be sent in one email, to the following:
         1. Parent, Guardian/ Carer of gymnasts u18 and for those gymnasts over 18 direct to their contact email.
         2. Club Coach
         3. Club Physiotherapist
         4. National Coach

1. Mid-week Clinic

1. 1. Elizabeth will also be running a midweek evening clinic in the NGTC every 2^nd week, for all the gymnasts on Tier 3&4 National Squad. These can be for follow ups between squad appointments or for anyone unable to source a club physiotherapist.
      1. All appointments will be booked in advance using our online booking system and will be charged at €20 per appointment billed directly to the club the gymnast represents.
      2. All information collected in relation to the appointment will be sent in one email, to the following:
         1. 1. Parent, Guardian/ Carer of gymnasts u18 and for those gymnasts over 18 direct to their contact email.
            2. Club Coach
            3. Club Physiotherapist
            4. National Coach
