14 clubs receive GymABLE equipment to grow inclusive gymnastics programmes

Thanks to the support of Sport Ireland’s Dormant Accounts Fund, Gymnastics Ireland has successfully provided specialised equipment packs to clubs across the country to support the development of GymABLE programmes.

A total of 14 clubs received their GymABLE equipment packs during GymSTART and National Series events held in March. Congratulations to the following clubs:

• Nimbus Trampoline Club
• Phoenix GC

To meet the diverse needs of participants, Gymnastics Ireland developed two types of GymABLE equipment packs. The Starter Pack includes over 125 pieces of equipment, such as floor markers, sensory equipment and rhythmic gymnastics starter items. This pack enables clubs to explore a variety of approaches to better support GymABLE gymnasts. The second pack is designed specifically for the artistic gymnastics pathway and includes beam wideners and mini springboards, helping to create a more accessible and supportive training environment.
