4 yeses for Ballincollig GC on Ireland’s Got Talent

2nd March 2019, Dublin: Acrobatic gymnastics team ‘Rebel Acro’ performed tonight on Ireland’s Got Talent, the nations biggest TV talent show and received 4 yeses for their impressive act.

The group from Ballincollig Gymnastics Club in Cork is made up of 17 gymnasts who have been regular fixtures on the National Series competitive scene for the Acrobatics discipline over the past number of years.

Speaking on the achievement CEO of Gymnastics Ireland, Ciaran Gallagher said: ‘Huge congratulations to Ballincollig Gymnastics Club for progressing through to the next round of Ireland’s got talent! Having gymnastics represented so brilliantly on Ireland’s number one talent show, which is also part of one of the world’s biggest TV franchises, shows just how popular our sport is in the country. We all now wish the gymnasts & coaches all the very best in the preparations for their next performance!’

Ireland's Got Talent is a show on Virgin Media One where contestants of any age, who possess any kind of talent can audition, with their performance judged by a panel of judges. Those that make it through the auditions compete against other acts in a series of live semi-finals, with the winning two acts of each semi-final proceeding into the show's live final.
