‘First day of the Club Managers Forum run by Gymnastics Ireland and I am leaving enlightened! Invaluable information shared by our Governing body, guest speakers and fellow managers/leaders in clubs across the country. Popularity of this sport is growing rapidly, and rightly so!’ said coach Elisha Colgan from Athlone Gymnastics Club.
Renmore Gymnastics Club Manger, Monika Corley commented: ‘I enjoyed the event, it was casual and informative. I specially appreciated having had the opportunity to network with other club representatives and the Gymnastics Ireland team. I found the information provided useful and would welcome this event once or twice a year.’
Commenting on the event, Gymnastics Ireland CEO Mr. Ciaran Gallagher said:
'It was great to get the first Club Managers forum off the ground and encouraging to see such positive feedback from the clubs that attended. This was a great opportunity for our clubs to exchange ideas, gain valuable insights from our staff and guest speakers and feedback to us what topics/areas they would like to see included in future forums. It is our plan to run 2 of these events a year, with each event building on the previous to provide as much support for our clubs in areas of common relevance/importance as possible’
