6000 attend Gymnastics Ireland's first event of 2020

Gym Start March 2020

8th March 2020; Gymnastics Ireland concluded its first two events of 2020 at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena this weekend with a huge turn over of 1700+ gymnasts taking part and over 4000 spectators supporting.

Saturday saw the first National Series competitive event with Women's Artistic Level 1 Club Teams & Open Individual All-Around, a qualifier event for the National Series Super Championships taking place in late June. The full list of results can be found here.

Today's GymSTART Competition had almost a 3-fold increase on entry numbers compared to 2019, the highest ever number at this one day event. The full list of results can be find here...

Attention now shifts to the upcoming National Series Qualifier event on 28th & 29th March where 5 gymnastics disciplines will compete to get to the National Series All-Around Championships in May and the National Series Super Championship (Apparatus finals) in June, all of which will take place right here in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena, Dublin. Tickets for the upcoming March event will be available in the coming weeks on our website.
