2021 Club Support Webinars - Wrap Up

This week's Gymnastics Ireland Webinar focused on gymnasts’ parents and was hosted by Gordon MacLelland – author, coach and owner of Working with Parents in Sport – an organization whose mission is to support organisations, parents and coaches in working together to provide children with the best possible sporting experiences’.

This online workshop covered topics such as parental engagement and the role parents play in sport, improving your communication and relationship with parents and getting the parents in your team more actively and positively engaged.

This event marked the end of this year’s Club Support Webinars supported by our insurers Marsh which was part of the '2021 Gymnastics Ireland Webinar Series'. A series of online events specifically designed to support developing the operational capacity and efficiency of our clubs, most of which now operate as Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

We would like to thank everyone who took part in this series since it was launched in March. Thanks to all clubs who attended and also thanks to all speakers, industry professionals and GI staff/officials who led and organised these online events.
