Gymnastics Ireland is happy to announce a new strategic partnership agreement with LearnUpon, an online learning managing system (LMS) that will be used to coordinate & streamline the delivery of our education programme going forward. This investment, supported by the Sport Ireland Resilience Fund, is part of our continued investment into making learning a simple and engaging experience to support the training needs of our members and officials.
Coaches, judges and gymnasts will be able to learn at their own pace as well as manage and track their development remotely and from the safety of their homes.
Gymnastics Ireland CEO Ciaran Gallagher commented on the exciting news:
“I have to thank Sport Ireland for the investment from the innovation strand of the Resilience Fund that has enabled us to rollout this new e-learning platform. It will be a huge step forward in terms of making our education system as accessible as possible for our members...”
Garret Buckley, Gymnastics Ireland Education Manager also added:
"I am looking forward to implementing LearUpon - an award winning LMS platform, which we will be using as part of all our education programs. We will be able to offer our members a new comprehensive eLearning platform where they will be able to have easy access to multiple online courses, workshops and webinars".
More information about the platform launch will be available in the coming months. Stay tuned and follow us @GymnasticsIRE on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat & LinkedIn for more exciting gymnastics news. #GymasticsIreland #Sportstartshere
