About the speakers
Bláthnaid Evans is Head of Employment & Corporate Immigration at Leman Solicitors with over ten years’ experience advising Irish and international clients on all aspects of employment law. Having trained and qualified in one of the leading employee and trade union firms in the country, she then went on to spend four years working for one of the leading top five law firms in Ireland, where she predominantly advised employers.
Bláthnaid advises on all aspects of the employment relationship from recruitment to terminating the employment relationship. Her experience would also include general advice on working time structures, internships, internal investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and procedures, as well as the preparation and review of employment contracts, employee handbooks, and other ancillary human resources policies to ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and best practice.
Morgan Crowe is an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. He advises on all aspects of commercial litigation and dispute resolution with an emphasis on sports disputes and governance. Morgan completed his training with a top five Irish commercial firm, gaining experience in a broad range of commercial issues. He also worked on secondment as legal advisor to an Oireachtas Committee of Inquiry into the Banking Crisis.
Morgan advises on commercial, regulatory, governance, disciplinary and dispute resolution matters. He specialises in data protection law and litigation. He assists both domestic and international clients, on high value and often multi-jurisdictional litigation. He also advises a diverse range of clients in the financial services sectors, often managing large teams working on complex and high-profile matters.
Karl O’Brien is a real estate solicitor at Leman Solicitors specialising in commercial property work. He has experience in advising large corporations in relation to the acquisition, financing, management, letting and disposal of commercial property. His specialist expertise includes asset management, landlord and tenant transactions, commercial property acquisitions and disposals, property finance and landlord and tenant disputes.
Karl trained with Leman prior to qualifying as a solicitor. Prior to joining Leman, Karl spent two years working as a legal assistant with a general practice in South Dublin. Before commencing his legal career, Karl spent over three years working in the financial services industry with one of Ireland’s largest banks.
