New 'Next Gen Championships' launched!

Gymnastics Ireland is proud to launch the 'Next Gen Championships' as part of the National Series on 14^th & 15^th September 2024.

This new podium level event will define key development and elite levels within the National Series pathway that will be coordinated to run together in specific subdivisions of competition over the weekend. These competition levels/subdivisions will be the 'Next Gen Championships' subdivisions.

It is through these key pathway levels that Irish star gymnasts of the future will pass through as they develop towards junior and ultimately senior international level.

Members and fans will have the opportunity to come to the 'Next Gen Championships' and follow our future stars over the years as they progress through their gymnast development.

The levels that are included in the 'Next Gen Championships' are as follows:

• Women's Artistic Next Gen Levels: Individual Open All-Around and Apparatus - FIG & Plus Levels 2-3, 4-5 & 6-7
• Men's Artistic Next Gen Levels: Individual Open All-Around and Apparatus FIG Junior & FIG Senior
• Rhythmic Next Gen Levels:  Level 4 Junior & Senior & Level 5
• Trampoline Next Gen Levels: FIG Senior and FIG age groups

The start times of the 'Next Gen Championships' subdivisions will be released with the full weekend competition schedule for 14^th & 15^th September shortly.
