2025 AGM - Board Nominees Announced

Following receipt of nominations to the Board by deadline of Wednesday 2nd July, the Gymnastics Ireland Nominations Committee (NC) has conducted its function as it relates to the upcoming AGM in-line with the constitution. The NC consisted of the following persons...
- One current Board member not seeking re-appointment or re-election: Gerard Rellis
- One former Board member not seeking re-appointment or re-election: Tom Dillon
- One independent: Mary O'Connor - CEO Federation Irish Sport
The NP have selected the following individuals for appointment to the relevant Board positions subject to ratification at the AGM:
- Chair: Shane O'Connor
- Member Officer: Eavanna Fitzgerald
- Member Officer: Colm Galligan
- Independent Officer: Roddy Guiney
- Independent Officer: Karen Coventry
The NC have also vetted the nominees received with all deemed eligible to go forward for election by the membership at the AGM:
- Deputy Chair: Ruth Larragy
- Member Representative Officer: Denis Donoghue
- Member Representative Officer: Clare Sheenan
- Member Representative Officer: Aoife Lusted

The NC have confirmed that the required skill sets and Sport Ireland 40% gender quota (each gender) have been fulfilled, also that no individual has exceeded the max term limit.
The AGM will be held on Thursday 10th July at 6.30pm virtually with login details being circulated to registered club primary delegates in the coming days.
