2025 Gymnastics Ireland Exchange - wrap up!
24th June 2025, 17:46p.m. | National

The 2025 Gymnastics Ireland Exchange took place in its 3rd edition earlier this month from Monday 9th to Friday 13th of June, with over 100 attendees representing 40 clubs from across the country.
This year's hybrid virtual and in-person knowledge exchange conference hit important areas in club development and operations, inclusion, leadership and participation programmes for gymnasts, as well as new adult gymnastics programmes for clubs.
The in-person event took place in the Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown on Friday 13th of June, hosted by Joanne Murphy from Tri Talking Sport and included top class keynote speakers and panelists such as three time Olympian & European Medallist Thomas Barr and the Secretary of FIG Para Gymnastics Working Group & Special Olympics Dr Angela Turner, who shared their experience within sport and inspired the audience.
The gymnasts' voices were heard in the Club Discussion panel where four guest gymnasts from Limerick, Rotate and Kilkenny gymnastics clubs discussed their own experiences in the sport focussing on participation, inclusion and leadership.
The in-person conference wrapped up with a club networking dinner hosted by Gymnastics Ireland. Clubs were provided with two free tickets to the dinner plus a hotel room for those that needed one.
