6000+ at GymSTART Floor and Vault Competition

This weekend saw the return of the GymSTART Floor and Vault Competition for 2026 taking place in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin. With an incredible 1700 gymnasts competing from 28 clubs across the two-day event and 4300+ spectators, it was an event to remember.

Our GymSTART programme allows gymnasts to compete in a safe and inclusive environment. Through this programme Gymnastics Ireland provides a pathway for recreational members to experience competition, while celebrating their personal achievements. Ran alongside the GymSTART event was our GymABLE competition, as part of our continued dedication to providing gymnastics opportunities for people with disabilities. Competing on Floor and Vault with adapted routines, GymABLE gymnasts have the opportunity to join the fun.

Attention now shifts to the National Series event taking place on the 21^st and 22^nd of March, which will feature five disciplines all taking place under the one roof of the Sports Ireland National Indoor Arena.
