GymSTART and JumpSTART weekend - wrap up!

14th June 2025; This weekend saw the return of the GymSTART Challenge and JumpSTART Competition Event taking place in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin. With 350 gymnasts and 750 spectators, it was an action-packed day with GymSTART gymnasts on the floor and JumpSTART gymnasts across rhythmic, trampoline and tumbling on display.

Our GymSTART programme allows young gymnasts to compete in a safe and inclusive environment. Through this programme Gymnastics Ireland provides a pathway for aspiring gymnasts to start their journey in our sport. More information about the programme can be found here.

The JumpSTART competition is a discipline-focused events programme that provides recreational members with the opportunity to compete in more than one discipline, whereby club recreational level gymnasts can try one or all the disciplines as an individual gymnast, as part of a discipline team and part of an overall club team. Attention now shifts to the National Series event taking place from the 25^nd to the 27^nd of October later this year in the Sports Ireland National Indoor Arena, which will feature all disciplines.
